In this article, we share our experiences and tips for your adventure.

**Please note that the information shared here is based on our experiences. Prices, opening times, and offers are subject to change, and experiences are often weather or seasonal-dependent. Be sure to check up-to-date information directly with operators to plan your travel experience.
Krabi (Ao Nang)

Krabi & especially Ao Nang are known for stunning beaches and limestone cliffs.
Four island tours - to the islands: Rai Leh Beach, Poda, Ko Kai (Chicken Island), Tup, and Phra Nang Beach (can be booked directly at Ao Nang Beach. (TnB-Tip: since you pay by boat, it's best to find 2-3 travel buddies. Just talk to people on the beach - you'll always find someone.)
Monkey Trail Ao Nang - please do not feed the animals, even if the locals sell food there. Otherwise, the animals will no longer search for food naturally. Keep wildlife wild! TnB-Tip: keep an eye on all your valuables. Don't have anything within easy reach near the monkeys - they are clever.

Tiger Cave Temple – A hilltop temple with over 1,200 steps and a magnificent view.
Emerald Pool and Hot Springs – pure refreshment in the natural pools and hot springs.
Krabi Night Market – Authentic street food and local specialties.
Koh Jum / Koh Pu

Koh Jum is a less touristy island that is perfect for relaxing.
Untouched beaches – Enjoy the peace on the deserted beaches.
Snorkeling – The waters around the island offer great snorkelling spots.

Exploring the island by scooter – Rent a scooter and explore the island at your own pace.
Fresh seafood – The small, charming restaurants offer delicious dishes.
TnB-Tip: – Koh Jum is ideal for relaxing. The south is a bit busier than the north. Restaurant/bar tip: Ting Tong Bar & Ganesh Restaurant
Koh Lanta

Koh Lanta combines relaxation and adventure. The island is known for its beautiful beaches and sunsets:
Nui Beach (Haad Nui) - Take a scooter tour around the island and take in the beaches.
Klong Khong Beach – A quiet beach for the perfect sunset.
Khlong Chak Waterfall - A nice way to cool down after a short hike.
Mu Koh Lanta National Park - pure nature with hiking trails and an iconic lighthouse. It is said that you can see a lot of animals (unfortunately we didn't see that many...)
Lanta Old Town – A charming old town with wooden buildings and a cozy atmosphere.
TnB-Tip: The sunsets are unique. Find a bar and just enjoy the colors.
Koh Kradan

Ko Kradan is a very small, hidden island, perfect for a quiet getaway, with few accommodations. The beach was voted the most beautiful beach in the world by the World Beach Guide in 2023. The island is quick to explore on foot as it is very small.
Sunset Beach – One of the most beautiful sunsets in Thailand.
Snorkeling directly on the beach – The coral reefs are just a few meters from the shore.
Relax with long walks on the beach or the sound of the sea.
Koh Phangan

Koh Phangan is best known for its Full Moon Parties, but there are also quieter sides:
Full Moon Party – One of the most famous beach parties in the world. (The exact dates change every year - it's best to check online)
Haad Ring Walking Street - Haad Rin Walking Street on Koh Phangan is the heart of the Full Moon Parties, which take place monthly during the full moon. During the day there is street food, souvenirs, and local fashion, while at night the street turns into a lively party area. The famous parties are especially during the full moon, but there are also Half Moon and Black Moon parties.

Haad Yao Beach - invites you to relax and swim.
Thong Nai Pan Beaches – Two beautiful beaches, perfect for relaxing.
Bottle Beach – A secluded beach that can be reached by boat or hiking. (TnB-Tip: definitely walk to the viewpoint)
Koh Ma & Mae Haad Beach - Here you can walk to the next island at low tide (check the times online beforehand)
Zen Beach - you can do it, but you don't have to (we were told that this is where you can find your center)
Khao Ra Viewpoint - Ko Phangan's highest point with a great view - unfortunately we only had fog...
TnB-Tip: Yang Na Yai Tree - approx. 400 year old tree | 45m high | 15m circumference
Koh Tao

Koh Tao is famous for its diving schools and spectacular underwater world:
Diving and snorkeling – the best spots to discover the underwater world.
TnB-Tip: We did the diving course at Scuba Shack (we can highly recommend it)

Nang Yuan Island – A small group of islands known for its beaches and clear waters.
Freedom Beach - there is an entrance fee (50 Baht | 1.50€), but it's worth it.
Tanote Bay - great for snorkeling and relaxing.
Sairee Beach – The main beach of Koh Tao, ideal for sunset.
John-Suwan Viewpoint – A climb that is rewarded with breathtaking views. Boat tours around the island – Koh Tao's coastline is ideal for exploring from the water.
